Alastair Forsyth

I look forward to passing on my knowledge of the game that I have picked up over the years having worked with some of the best coaches in the game.

Alastair turned professional in 1998 after representing Scotland at boys, youths and senior levels. Winning The Scottish Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship was his biggest achievement as an amateur.

In his first year as a professional golfer, he won The Scottish under 25’s and Kilspindie Assistants Championship and was named Rookie of The Year in Scotland. In 1999 I won the Northern Open and Scottish Assistants Championship finishing 1st on The Tartan Tour Money List and 2nd on The Order Of Merit. He went on to win The European Tour Qualifying School at the end of the year to gain his card on the European Tour.  Alastair then played on The European Tour for 15 years, winning twice,(The Malaysian Open in 2002 and Madeira Islands Open in 2008).  He also won The Scottish PGA Championship in 2000.

Alastair has played in 4 Open Championships, 3 USPGA’s and a U.S. Open. His best finish was tied 9th in The USPGA in 2008. He also represented Scotland in The World Cup Of Golf on 5 occasions.
